98 kWp PV system and connection to the virtual power plant //
During this project several photovoltaic (PV) systems were installed on both new and existing/refurbished municipal schools in the project area by the City of Munich. These systems deliver a minimum of 118 kWp and get partly connected to a virtual power plant.
Further PV system with 60kWp is in preparation (Month 45)

The installation of photovoltaic will (if possible) take place within the refurbishment measures. Search for new sites and objects for implementation of projects with high  public recognition value (public spaces, crowd funding objects)

  • Photovoltaic installation on refurbishment buildings might not be feasible due to static constraints of the building structure.

Without municipal subsidies operation is not economically feasible (first10 years)

Installation of photovoltaic systems on refurbishment buildings require additional static studies of the roof

What is the current implementation status/ what is the current activity step?    
The installation of photovoltaic (PV) will 
a) take place alongside the other refurbishment measures and 
b) on other, also additional objects. Possible sites and objects for implementation of PV systems are currently being acquired. In one case one project is already in planning, yet still not confirmed. Additional features like small e-mobility station with electricity storage are included in this case.
